Simone Feiler enjoyed a 30+ year career in commercial radio across Australia and the UK, establishing herself as an audio industry expert with a successful track record. In 2016, she launched Brisbane Audiobook Production, quickly becoming the leading audiobook production agency in southeast Queensland. Following rave reviews and strong word-of-mouth demand from her clients, Simone expanded her business, opening Melbourne and Sydney Audiobook Production in 2021. Audiobook Australia swiftly became the central hub for all her production agencies across the globe. Step 1:
Reach out to Simone via our contact form to arrange a complimentary Zoom or phone consultation. This will give you the opportunity to speak with her directly and ask any questions you have about making your audiobook dream a reality.
Step 2:
Choose to self-narrate or engage one or more of our talented voice artists. Simone will encourage you the writer to narrate your work, particularly in the non-fiction and self-help genres, after all you know your work best and this is an opportunity to enhance your legacy… Your story in your voice! Ultimately though, the decision is yours. If you opt not to narrate, we offer a diverse array of talented voice artists who can honour your work with their rendition.
Step 3:
Schedule studio and recording dates and times. If you choose to self-narrate, we'll schedule mutually suitable times for you to record in one of our professional studios. We prefer to do the recording in 3-to-4-hour blocks as this ensures peak performance, energy and concentration levels and you’ll be guided and coached through the entire narration process by one of our experienced audio engineers and directors.
Engaging one of our talented voice actors will require you to choose your perfect voice from our wide and diverse pool. We’ll schedule an agreeable timeline for their recording and you’ll have the opportunity to listen to the outcome and implement any changes or amendments you require.
Step 4:
In the post-production phase, one of our experienced audio engineers will go through the raw WAV files, removing outtakes, extraneous sounds, de-breathing and fundamentally clean the audio to the highest industry standards. Once completed, you will have the opportunity to listen to your audiobook files and advise of any changes you may require and to ultimately approve your audiobook for completion and onto the mastering phase ready for distribution.
Step 5:
If you’re looking to further enhance your audiobook, we also offer sound effects placement and the option of adding music to compliment your narration and maximise listener engagement.

Upon completion of your audiobook and your final approval, we can assist you opening your account with the industry's leading global audiobook supplier by uploading your MP3 audiobook files along with your metadata and audiobook cover artwork.
Our preferred audiobook issuer gives you the choice of having your title where you want it with over 50 global online retailers to choose from including the major players Audible, Apple, Google Play and Spotify.
