The short answer is no. At Audiobook Australia, we believe that your story is told best through you. That's why we promote self- narration. In saying this, we do have a diverse array of talented voice artists who can honour your work with their rendition.
How do I publish my audiobook on Audible?
Whether you've recorded and produced your audiobook with us or not, we can assist you publishing your audiobook to 50+ online global retailers including Audible, Google Play, Apple, Spotify, Audiobooks Now and the like.
Do I need to have an eBook or printed version on Amazon to release my audiobook on Audible?
No. We can distribute your audiobook without these to Audible and 50+ other online global retailers.
How do I price my audiobook? How much will I be paid for each audiobook sale?
We're here to guide you on your audiobook price. While the leading audiobook retailers do ask for your RRP, they may not always go with your suggestion, however they will pay you a 35% royalty on the final sale price of your audiobook. We can also assist you selling your audiobook from your website where you can put your RRP and retain 80% of the royalty. We feel this option is the best for self-published authors who have a website - we'd even go so far as to say it may be worth creating a website for the better royalty. Where can people listen to my audiobook?
You have the final say where your audiobook is available for sale and you can choose to have it available globally to 50+ online audiobook retailers including all the major players like Audible, Apple, Google Play and Spotify along with direct download from your website.
Where are our audiobook recording studios located?
Our studios are based in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne however, if these aren't convenient to you, we can arrange for you to record at a studio close to you, no matter where on the planet you live.
Will I own the copyright of my audiobook?
Yes! We ensure you retain the full copyright of your audiobook from recording to publication.
Is my voice good enough?
Absolutely! If you're nervous about self-narration, don't worry.
